WEAVING WELLNESS INTO DAILY LIFE
Inspired by my childhood love of writing letters and receiving handwritten notes in the post, The Envelope Project is something close to my heart. I created it with the hope of fostering connection, easing pressure, and inspiring everyday creativity.
The idea first came to me during the pandemic, a time when disconnection felt overwhelming. I began to think deeply about how we might bridge the gap between creativity, healing, and community, and a simple envelope felt like the perfect place to start. It’s a symbol of connection and communication, something most of us already have lying around. Turning bill envelopes into mini works of art felt both uplifting and accessible, a reminder that creativity doesn’t need to be expensive or polished to be powerful.
This project is an invitation to transform the overlooked into something meaningful, and to support wellness through art-making. Using recycled envelopes and everyday materials, it encourages you to create with what you already have, to explore freely, connect gently, and discover magic in the mundane. My hope is that this simple, soulful practice nurtures your relationship with nature, with creativity, and with yourself.
I love the recycling aspect of this project too. Art shouldn’t be limited by finances or fear. Too often, people say, “I can’t draw,” or “I’m not creative,” but this isn’t about being an artist in the traditional sense. It’s about giving your mind and body a moment to pause, to play, and to redirect energy, just for a little while.
My dream is for this project to spark joy across communities and beyond. Imagine opening your letterbox to find a beautifully decorated envelope, the pause it would bring, the smile it might inspire. That’s the magic I hope to share.
